Information for individual applicants concerning “Personal data processing consent” According to Federal law of Russian Federation “About personal data” every applicant has to sign “Personal data processing consent” since May 2011. Please note that all applicants who submit documents through authorized representatives are also obliged to prepare this document in advance or to sign a power of attorney on a representative. Don’t forget that if one of the group members submits documents for rest of the group, he/she needs to have this document or power attorney from the other group members. Power attorney can be notarized or handwritten. A lawful representative (parents, tutors, etc.) should sign this document for a minor (all children under 18). You can find the document here. |

Finland opens Visa Centre in Kazan The Visa Department of Embassy of Finland in Moscow informs that the Joint Visa Centre in Kazan starts accepting visa applications from June, 17th 2011. In the Visa Centre one can submit documents only for a short-term Schengen visa. In case of a residence permit, documents should be submitted directly to diplomatic representatives of Finland in Russian Federation. Processing time of submitted in Kazan documents will be slightly different from Moscow, but will meet a ten-day period required by the visa facilitation agreement between EU and Russia. The regional centre will not accept applications for express handling in 3 working days. In that case documents should be submitted in Moscow. You can find all information concerning conditions and needed sets of documents on the web site of Embassy of Finland in Moscow (http://www.finland.org.ru) or on the Visa Centre of Finland web site (http://visa.finland.eu). Application for a Schengen visa may be submitted by: - Personally by the persons applying for a visa - Family members and close relatives - The organizations for their employees through the representative - The travel agencies accredited in Embassy of Finland - One of the group members may submit documents of all group along with his/her documents Working Hours: From Monday to Friday 0900-1600, except Russian Holidays and holidays specified by the Embassy of Finland.
