The Visa Application Centres (VAC) of Finland assist Ukrainian nationals and foreigners legally residing in Ukraine with the visa application process. This site provides you with details related to your application submission and collection process along with other useful information you need to know. The visa application centres are located in Kiev and L’viv.

All applications collected by the Visa Application Centre will be sent to the Embassy of Finland in Kyiv for assessment and resolution. Visa Application Centre staff has no say in the visa decisions taken by the Embassy.

Step 1 :	Prepare your application and supporting documents: Go to ‘All about your visas’ link on this website and find out details related to the visa category you want to apply for – here, you can find information on the applicable fee, documents required, Visa application form and more.
Step 2 :	Book an appointment to visit Visa Application Centre: To visit Visa Application Centre we recommend you to Schedule Appointment. You can book an appointment online or by calling the Call Centre. Details provided on this website will help you to schedule an appointment. You can also visit the VAC without an appointment. To book an appointment for submitting visa or residence permit application to the Embassy of Finland, Kyiv, please contact our call centre at (+38) 044 5941269 from 08:30-18:00 hrs from Monday to Friday. Step 3 :	Submit your application: Visit Visa Application Centre and submit your completed Visa Application Forms along with required supporting documents.
Step 4 :	Pay applicable Fee: Submission Officer will advise you on total payable amount and guide you to the bank cashier where you need to pay in local currency (Hryvnia). Receipt will be provided for all payments made at the Centre.

Please note!

Visa Application Centre offers SMS service to applicants, whereby on return of your passport from the Embassy of Finland in Kyiv a SMS will be sent to your mobile phone informing you about it. In addition to this SMS, there will be an email sent as well. To avail this service, applicants should provide with a Mobile contact and an email address at the time of submission of application at the Visa Application Centre.

At the time of submission at the Visa Application Centre, applicant has the choice to Subscribe for Courier Service for return of passport. Please ask more information when submitting your documents at the Application Center.

After submission, you can also check the status of your application online by simply providing the unique VAC Reference Number and your Date of Birth. VAC reference number can be found on the Invoice-Cum-Receipt provided by the Submission Officer at the application centre at the time of submission.
