Due to the Corona virus / COVID-19 situation, Finland has temporarily suspended accepting and processing visa and residence permit applications globally.

As a precautionary measure to avoid the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), all customers visiting the Visa Application Centre in Jakarta and Bali are required to have their body temperature checked before entering the Centre.
For customers with an appointment and having a temperature ≥ 38 ℃, our security team will date stamp the appointment letter and inform the customer to return with the letter when his/her health condition has improved, by emailing our helpdesk email@example.com
Those with signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g. fever, cough and difficulty breathing) should seek medical advice as early as possible from the Indonesia Health Authorities.

Announcement of Special Operational Timings
As approved by Finland Embassy, Finland Visa Application Centre in Bali will apply special operational timing on Tuesday, 24 March 2020 due to “Pengrupukan” day to welcome Silent day.
Visa applicants are encouraged to wisely schedule the submission and the collection of their visa applications at Finland Visa Application Centre to match their travel arrangements.

Increased fees for visa applications
Please note: As of 02 February 2020 the Schengen visa fee per person (Short Stay Visa) will increase from 60 to 80 euros or the equivalent amount in your local currency. For children between 6-12 years old the visa fee will increase to 40 euros or equivalent.

New visa sticker for use
All Finnish missions abroad and organisations issuing visas, including the Border Guard, Finnish Customs and the Police, started to use the new EU visa sticker on 11 November 2019. Regulation (EU) 2017/1370, amending Council Regulation (EC) No 1683/95 on a uniform format for visas, was adopted on 04 July 2017. All Member States must start using the new visa sticker by 21 December 2019.
The introduction of the new visa sticker does not require any measures from visa applicants. Visas issued before 11 November 2019 will be valid for the period of validity indicated on the visa sticker.
